Perk of travelling solo

Hello Friends,

On Ist april I went to an unplanned solo trip to Rishikesh and that was one of the best trip of my life. Travelling solo gives another kind of high in life. You get a sense of complete freedom when you are travelling alone. I realised multiple pros of travelling solo. Some of them are :

1. You will not get stuck in taking thousand pics of your friends. At least for me it becomes annoying after a certain point.
2. You will be able to do anything that you want to. You have to wait for no one. You don’t have to impress anyone. You will be expecting nothing from anyone and no one will expect anything from you. Frankly this put mind at ease.
3. When you travel with a group of friends then you will miss a lot of detail about the place. But when you are travelling solo then you will notice and experience much more about the place.
4. You get to meet a lot of new people in your journey. There will be a lot of surprise elements. For example, I had taken a hostel (GoStops Laxman Jhula) to stay at Rishikesh. On Saturday night I went to terrace of the hostel and it was spectacular view at the terrace. People were playing guitar , jamming together. The wind was amazing on terrace. Me and 3 other people started talking and we shared lot of laughs together. Everyone must experience this “Talking to complete strangers and vibe instantly”
5. During solo travel you can feel eveything more intensely. For example : On Sunday I was having my dinner in Tattva cafe of Tapovan Rishikesh. I got a seat from which Ram Jhula was visible and I was able to see an amazing view from my dinner table. Even now when I close my eyes that whole scene come in front of me and I travel to that place again and again in my memory. I becomes happy instantly by imagining that view.
6. It’s been more than 10 day since I returned from that trip but still I am able to recall each and every moment of those 2 days. This is the best thing about travelling solo. You can feel all the details about the trip and it will remain in your memory forever.
